Marriage and Family has a vision that includes young couples, parents of children and youth. These families are introduced to the love of Jesus, grow in their faith and experience the building of meaningful relationships with other believers. Great connections happen in large and small groups while learning together, praying for each other, serving together and having lots of fun. Single or married, young and old have opportunities to attend marriage & parenting classes and retreats. Some families find it helpful to have private conversations in my office. I love building teams of men and women to fulfill this vision. I also find great fulfillment preparing couples for marriage.
Unleashing ministry provides opportunity for teams of 4 or more attending the Covenant to fulfill their passion to reach our community and beyond with the message of the Gospel. Unleashing teams proclaim the message of the Gospel through acts of service, love, kindness and mercy to those in need.
I joined the staff in 2004.
I love spending time with my wife (Jan) creating a yard that looks like a park. This park like setting provides a fun destination for our 15 grandkids. They look forward to jumping on the trampoline, roasting marshmallows around the bonfire, swinging on the big swings, using their imagination in the forts out in the woods, zipping down the 90’ zipline or playing gaga ball. Spending time with our family means so much to us.
I relax when I’m fishing, hunting, mowing the lawn and refinishing old pieces of furniture.
